Loader Operator (Crushing Division) - Full-time Seasonal
Responsibilities:
- To work as part of a team under supervision of the crew foreman &/or superintendent to operate a loader and other miscellaneous duties as required
- Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- General maintenance of equipment
- Building stockpiles as per regulations
- Loading trucks with aggregate
- Assisting with crusher maintenance, tear downs, and set ups
Qualifications:
- Experience in the operation of equipment
- Knowledge of equipment operation, cleaning & maintenance requirements
- Analytical & problem-solving skills considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 NS driver’s license
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be willing to travel within Northern and Eastern Nova Scotia

Quality Control Technician - Full-Time Seasonal
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete quality control testing during aggregate production
- Work as part of a team under supervision of the Quality Control Manager
- Complete regular inspections of the testing equipment
- Other duties as required
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, Education and Experience:
- Previous experience testing aggregates would be considered an asset
- Successful completion of the Civil Engineering Technician Program would be considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 NS drivers’ license
- Mechanical aptitude – knowledge of operation, maintenance & basic repairs of testing equipment consider an asset
- Knowledge of MS Office, specifically MS Excel & MS Outlook considered an asset
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team considered an asset
- Must be willing to travel within Northeastern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton

Scalehouse Attendant (Full-time Seasonal) - Location Troy (Cape Breton NS)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Input of weight tickets into computer system for customers/truckers includes weighing of trucks on scale
- Directing customers/truckers to proper aggregate stockpiles
- Provide customer service and respond to any customer enquiries
- General housekeeping of scalehouse
